Celebrating Literacy Leadership: A National Spotlight on SDIRC
We are honored to share that the School District of Indian River County (SDIRC), in partnership with The Learning Alliance and the Moonshot Community Action Network (MCAN), has been featured in a national article by the Tampa Bay Times, highlighting our collective efforts to improve literacy outcomes for students in Indian River County.
This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child can read, write, and succeed. It is a testament to the collaborative spirit and dedication of our educators, families, and community partners.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:
The Learning Alliance for their transformative work in literacy education and community engagement.
Moonshot Community Action Network (MCAN) for their innovative initiatives and unwavering support in our shared mission.
Jeff Martin and The Children’s Literacy Project for their impactful storytelling and reminder of what's possible when communities put children first.
Together, we are making strides toward a future where literacy is within reach for every child. Thank you for your continued partnership and dedication to this vital cause.
