We kicked things off with Day 1, filled with festive games, laughter, and our always-popular Cookie Exchange 🍪❄️. The treats were delicious, the competition was friendly, and the holiday spirit was strong!
Day 2 made the celebration even more special as we welcomed back Barb, the wonderful TCE legend who began this beloved tradition many years ago ❤️🎅. Her visit brought warmth, smiles, and a reminder of the joy that comes from traditions that stand the test of time.

We are excited to welcome our Pirate families to campus for our annual Thanksgiving Feast! Please be sure to check the adjusted lunch schedule, as times have been changed for this special day.

Your oldest sibling may join the youngest sibling’s lunch so you can enjoy the feast together.

RSVPs were already sent home—please make sure yours is submitted so we can plan accordingly.

Yesterday, our Pirates had an amazing opportunity to explore marine science careers through hands-on learning with several incredible guest presenters:
🐢 Olivia Redding – Sea Turtle Rescue Coordinator, Coastal Connections
Shared with kindergarten students how she helps protect and rescue sea turtles in our lagoon.
🌿 Jessica Hernandez – Education Coordinator, Environmental Learning Center (ELC)
Spoke with 1st and 2nd graders about the ELC’s work in environmental education, research, and conservation.
🏖️ Dakota Whelan – Coastal Specialist, Indian River Natural Resources Department
Engaged our 3rd–5th graders with real-world coastal restoration efforts and interactive sea turtle surveys.

World Kindness Day Dress Down Day
Since students will be in uniform for class pictures on Thursday, we have moved our World Kindness Day Dress Down Day to Friday, November 14th.
This will be a free dress down day for students. Students are asked to wear blue or a shirt with a kind message to celebrate kindness!
Please remember to follow the dress code by wearing sneakers and ensuring that shorts and shirts are an appropriate length.
Let’s show our kindness in style! 💙
