Good evening Treasure Coast Elementary families,
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to emphasize just how important attendance is over the next few weeks. State testing is here, and every single day matters. When students are present, on time, and ready to learn, they are setting themselves up for success.
We also ask for your support in reminding your children to stay focused and continue working hard. This is the time of year where effort, perseverance, and a positive mindset truly make a difference. At TCE, we want all of our students showing up each day and embracing our GRIT expectations.
This week is also Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, taking place from May 4th through May 8th. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, care, and hard work our teachers and staff pour into our students each and every day. If you have a moment this week, we encourage you to send a quick note or message of appreciation to help us celebrate them.
Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will be completing their STAR testing, with Early Literacy and Reading on Tuesday, May 5th, and Math on Thursday, May 7th. Our 3rd through 5th grade students will begin their FAST state testing the following week, from May 11th through May 15th. We will then wrap up testing with our 5th grade FSSA Science Test on May 19th.
We are also excited to share that we will be hosting our Muffins with Mom event on Monday, May 11th from 7:45 to 8:15 in the morning. We can’t wait to see our students side by side with some of their favorite people.
We are so proud of the hard work our students and staff have put in this year, and we know they are ready to do their best. Thank you for your continued support in making sure your child is here each day, well-rested, and ready to go.
Let’s finish the year strong together.

GRAD WALKS
Today was something special. 💙🎓
Our halls were filled with pride, memories, and a whole lot of smiles as we welcomed back our graduating seniors for our annual Grad Walk. Watching them walk through the same doors where their journey began—now confident, accomplished, and ready for what’s next—was truly powerful.
For our current students, it was a glimpse into the future. For our seniors, a reminder of how far they’ve come. And for our staff, it was a full-circle moment we won’t soon forget.
Once a part of our school family, always a part of our school family. We are so proud of each and every one of you—congratulations, graduates! 🎉👏

This is your weekly update with a few important reminders.
First, attendance matters. As we move into the final stretch of the school year, every day counts. Please continue helping your child arrive on time and attend school each day so they do not miss important instruction, review, testing, and end-of-year activities.
A reminder that all Take Your Child to Work Day reflection packets are due tomorrow, Monday, April 27th. No late packets will be accepted in order to excuse the absence.
We also want to remind families that morning drop-off must take place through the car loop. For safety and efficiency, parents should not park and walk students up to campus in the morning. Thank you for helping us keep arrival running smoothly.
This Thursday, April 30th, we will welcome our graduating seniors back to TCE for our Grad Walk at 1:00.
Friday, May 1st, students may participate in Hat Day for $1 to benefit TCE. Also on Friday, our PTA Pool Party will be held at the North County Aquatic Center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A parent must accompany their child.

📢 Attention TCE Agents! A new mission begins April 13th – May 15th, and we need every student on the case. Your mission: show up every day and complete your attendance assignment!
🎯 Weekly Mission Objective:
Complete your weekly mission with 100% attendance to earn 20 PBIS points.
🔐 Mission Success Requirement:
Students who achieve 100% attendance will be eligible for prizes and special 3D-printed rewards.
🏆 Mission Champions:
Each week, the grade-level crew with the highest number of agents achieving 100% attendance will be declared Mission Champion.
🎉 End-of-Mission Reward:
After 5 weeks, the class in each grade with the highest number of completed attendance missions will earn extra recess during the week of May 18th.
🍧 Mission Bonus:
Agents who complete 5 straight weeks of perfect attendance will earn a Snow Cone Party!
🕶️ Agents, remember: Every day at school is a step toward success.
