Gifted 5th grade students have been hard at work creating animals for the "Volume Zoo!"
Students constructed a 3D model using recycled boxes, demonstrating strong spatial reasoning and creativity. They accurately measured dimensions, calculated the cubic volume of each box and cylinder, and combined these to determine the total volume of the composite figure.
Through this project, students practiced math, science, and communication skills while working together!
Our art students did well at last night's Tag Art competition. It is always great seeing our students' creativity!
