Excellence is built one day at a time. It can be seen in a student gaining confidence, a teacher finding a new way to make learning meaningful, a staff member offering encouragement, or a family reinforcing at home what began in the classroom.

Across Rosewood Magnet School, Osceola Magnet School, Liberty Magnet School, and Treasure Coast Elementary School, those everyday moments have led to extraordinary results. The four (4) schools have been named 2025-2026 Schools of Excellence by the Florida State Board of Education.

“This recognition represents so much more than a school grade,” said Superintendent Dr. David K. Moore. “It reflects students who work hard, educators who believe deeply in their potential, leaders and staff members who create welcoming places to learn, and families who remain engaged every step of the way. We are incredibly proud of these four school communities and all they continue to accomplish for children.”

Each recognized school also earned an A for the 2025-2026 school year. Osceola Magnet School is celebrating its eighth consecutive year as a School of Excellence. Rosewood Magnet School has earned the designation for four consecutive years, Liberty Magnet School for three consecutive years, and Treasure Coast Elementary School for two consecutive years.

The School of Excellence designation recognizes schools that have performed within the top 20 percent of schools serving the same grade levels for at least two of the past three school years. While the designation brings additional flexibility under Florida law, its greatest significance is the story behind it: sustained achievement made possible through shared commitment.

For the students, educators, staff members, leaders, and families of these four schools, this recognition is a celebration of what they have accomplished together and a reminder that excellence grows wherever children are known, supported, challenged, and inspired.
